I also found that SRAM's ilight D3 is also suitable for 74mm wide Dahon (and Brompton) forks. Since Brompton uses 28 spokes for the front wheel, they offer actually more choice of hub dynamos: SON, Shimano, SRAM. Of course, all of them would fit the Dahon frame, but the wheel with more spokes wouldn't quite look the same.

While Carly now has a 28H Capreo dynamo spoked into the original 28H rim (Dahon didn't build 20-spoke-wheels, twenty years ago!), I am still debating to buy an original Dahon hub or the cheaper Shimano hub to upgrade my new bike. It's a Mµ Uno – soon to be found on this blog!Robert Jack Wildhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08161002355215820551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29989659.post-29795225043919173812010-12-10T15:47:18.753-05:002010-12-10T15:47:18.753-05:00I like your blog. In Brazil we do not have good folding bikes, models are simpler because of the salary of the population. I also use the Dahon Curve for my travels ... is very cool. keep following the blog.
